In front of me is a delicious ice cream, tempting me. I’m trying to manage my blood sugar and keep my daily calories in check. Every day, we make choices with a plan and a purpose in mind. Often, we’re focused on meeting our own needs, living our lives, and achieving our goals, but we tend to do this without seeking God’s guidance.
God is in control and can lead us on the right path, but how often do we truly trust Him with our daily plans?
Dear Lord, help me to be your partner in daily life. Walk with me and reveal your plan for me clearly, so I won’t be tempted by the sweetness of worldly things, like the delicious ice cream in front of me. God, I come to you seeking your clear guidance, your wisdom and compassion. In blessing, I pray in your name.
